Debra Shore marched in the 36th annual Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade this summer on June 26, 2005. The Parade evolved from a 1970 march to demand that the city give more attention to the gay, lesbian, and transgender community.
Debra Shore kicks off her campaign for commissioner of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) with a large fundraising party at her Evanston-Skokie home. She is graciously introduced by Julie Hamos, Illinois State Representative for the 18th District.
